This is a common problem when you print multiple pages together. Word: Page Numbers — US Version 1. Click on the Edit link, navigate to the page you want to organize, and click on the Edit Format link 2. Go to the Format section and click Custom on the page you want to customize this setting. 3. Click Format on the bottom right of the form that appears, and then on Custom 4. Under Custom, you can see that Pages are numbered by part/page. 5. Under Number Formats, click on Word's default number format and then check “Use the default numbering settings provided and not set this value to page 1 of 2”. 6. Click OK. 7. Your document will now have a new page number, and you can check it in the document by clicking the number. Word: Page Numbers — UK Version The UK version uses the same format as the US. If you can figure out the numbering format for your language, simply use that number format; it is the standard.
