Use headers and footers from within any page in the document. Go to the Page menu. A Page header appears on the first page of the document. Use one of the following two methods: 1. Drag and drop in the text. 2. Type a block of text that includes title and content in the Header and/or Footer area of a Pages document. (To create the heading, enter the title in any text editor.) Use a heading with custom formatting in Word Insert a paragraph of text in the header area or footer area using a heading. Use one of the following two methods: 1. Click Edit > Paragraph, then click > Headings. 2. Click (Edit > Format) > Paragraph, select > Page Header, and then click Choose to head to insert the heading.
