Oct 26, 2024 — Could not convert from Word to PDF without losing headers and footers: When I click on a file icon in the ribbon there is no image to select in my document (or no text). The first screen appears and when I click on another file icon, the header and footer on both files are the same color and not the selected image. I am not aware of a way to delete the file when I try to add content to it. If anyone can suggest a solution please comment on this post. Oct 21, 2024 — Try exporting a PDF from your Word document via the export or import function (CTRL+shift+r). It will have the same picture of both the page (and the PDF page) as the image and text/markdown on it. However, the headers and footers will be lost. I used to do this using the print preview tool and this trick worked fine. Oct 21, 2024 — This will help you convert your Word docs to PDF. 1. Press cmd+shift+e on a Word doc, and choose “Export As”. 2. If you get the error about headers and footers being lost, select “no” when asked if you wish to keep their image and text. After you have saved the file, save it as a PDF on your PC. (or use other programs such as the free creator). Sep 2, 2024 — This will help you convert your Word docs to PDF. 1. Press CTRL+shift+e. 2. Aug 18, 2024 — When I create a PDF (Word doc) for sending to someone I usually have the text and then an image to place in the front of the PDF document. I'm on my mobile computer and this is not as easy. If I go to page layout and choose “other odd and even” this allows me to have the page with text and image. When I try to use the Acrobat menu to add this image and text to the PDF document, the picture of the page with text fades to an image.
