How Can I Find The Exact Code Of My Tv To Use On A Universal Remote?
Q. How do I program a universal remote to a TV without codes? I have had two universal remotes that fit in this category. On one, it was simply a case of setting the universal remote in learn mode then pointing it at a genuine remote and pressing the corresponding buttons on both so that the universal remote can learn the codes. The other one had a built in list covering several hundred different devices. For my TV, I had to turn on the TV and alternately press the setup button and another button on the universal remote until the TV turned off. Try some of the other buttons and if t worked, press the key sequence to lock that setting in. If the other buttons didn’t work, then turn the TV on again and carry on with the setup and the other button until another possibility was found.
