There are several ways to accomplish this workflow. Open PhantomPDF Go to the Convert tab in the Ribbon Go to Combine Files. You will then be presented with this window. Select “Add Files” Once you’ve selected Add Files, you will be presented with various options of how to add files. You have the ability to add files, folders, webpages, PDF from a scanner or from a clipboard, even from open files directly from window. Once the specification has been made for the files types that need to be combined, the next step is to combine. As highlighted below, a user can add different file formats, move documents up and down, remove pages, even select specific pages that t would like to use from the specified documents. Before combining, PhantomPDF gives a user the ability to add/create a new table of contents page from bookmarks and/or retain page logic during combination which can be essential to keeping files organized. Once this indicated, select combine. PhantomPDF will convert all the file types into a Binder.pdf Alternatively, another way for a user to access the window to Combine Files in Foxit PhantomPDF is to right click the file type you’d like to combine and select Combine Files in Foxit PhantomPDF. This info comes from the foxit knowledge base, originally created by Daveia Strachan
Once a file has been “Combined“ Phantom PDF will convert this file into a Binder.pdf by adding the required files to all the folders under [Combine]” the name of the folder’s that would match the file type’s that have been “Combined“. The page size cannot vary, which would indicate the files are being converted within a single file at a time. Once this is done, Phantom PDF is done for this file type. Alternatively, all the files have already been “Combined“. The file type folder that had the “Combined“ has this description for all the files in the name of the folder’s. This description gives information such as the file type of the pages that have been “Combined“, the number of pages in the book and if there are any annotations or images.
