Here are two of my favorites. (You need to be on a fairly new iPhone - 6S or newer, and on at least IOS 11, I would say). Say to Siri. “Play the news”, and wait about 5 seconds. You will hear the latest summary of the news by NPR. Open Apple Maps and search for a major city or national monument (for example Mount Rushmore). Click on “Flyover”. Hold your phone vertically in front of you and turn slowly around. You will see a 360 degree bird’s eye view of the place. Then click on “Start Tour”. You will get a wonderful guided tour of the place. Turn the phone to landscape mode for a wider view. This is even more impressive on an iPad.
If you want to see the place in real time while driving, use Siri or Google Maps, but remember to move and turn around to keep up with all the different angles.
